Cafe Boheme
OLD COMPTON STREET, Wi (020 7734 0623)
Who goes there? Theatre-goers and media types. Kate Moss had a party here; Matthew Vaughn
and Guy Ritchie (left)
discussed Lock, Stock
over coffee and croissants.
Why the hype? Recently
refurbished, Café Boheme
is, like Soho House, owned
by Richard Caring and Nick
Jones, and is the place to grab late-night drinks or early morning coffee. What to order? Smoked chicken, avocado and baby gem salad, crab and avocado tartine, snails with garlic and parsley butter. The crème brulee is a signature pudding.
Best table On the pavement or a secluded banquette at the back. Cost £25 for two courses,
without alcohol.
Restaurant manager Loyd Loudy.
THE WAITRESS:
Marion Gensane, 20, lives in Manor House. The French waitress loves the restaurant's ambience and the friendly relationship between staff and customers. She doesn't get much time off, but visits the capital's historic sites when she can. Her favourite meal at Café Boheme is steak frites.
