Bee Sting
A sting results in redness, pain and swelling — caused by inflammatory substances in the venom.
STEP ONE
Try to scrape off the venom using your fingernail or a credit card. DON'T pull it out.
STEP TWO
Wash the area with soap and water.
STEP THREE
Mix bicarbonate of soda with a little water and apply. This neutralises the venom.
STEP FOUR
After 10 minutes, wash off paste and apply ice, wrapped in a cloth.
