The last of the Jan Sales
Need some sizzling sun? Want a bargain?
We present the best ways to escape this winter of discontent
It's cold, it's dark and there are still six days of January to go. Worse still, it's 63 days before the clocks go forward, another 11 weeks until the first bank holiday of the year and the Christmas credit-card bill is in the post. Your new year's resolutions have fallen off the treadmill and
'ou've just had to endure what men n white coats have officially declared
e most depressing week of the year.
I wonder you might be feeling sauhtly, er, down. You need an
rgency dose of cut-price, low-cost, in-basement sunshine, and the news is, if you think you missed
eam of the crop in the travel-
's January sale, you're as wrong as
MOD' ere about joining that gym.
